Fort Smith, Ark. – The City of Fort Smith is seeking community volunteers to assist with this year’s Mayor’s 4th of July Celebration.
City officials said volunteers are needed for several roles during the event, including trash collection, water distribution, event setup and tear down, information tent assistance, and parking support.
According to the city, multiple volunteer shifts are available before, during, and after the celebration, allowing residents to participate for a few hours or throughout the event.
Officials encouraged community members interested in volunteering to sign up through the city’s event registration page.
