Fort Smith Police Department to host free class on teen safety and online risks

Fort Smith, Ark. – The City of Fort Smith, Arkansas announced that the Fort Smith Police Department will host a free community class focused on challenges facing modern teenagers.

The session is scheduled for April 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and will take place in the department’s community room at 100 South 10th Street.

Officials said the class will address topics including illicit drug use and the risks associated with certain phone applications.

The program is designed for parents and guardians of school-aged children and aims to provide practical tips and guidance to help keep families safe.

The class is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to reserve a spot in advance.
