Arkansas State Police holds retirement reception for longtime major

Arkansas – Arkansas State Police staff from across the state gathered at headquarters recently to honor Major Ron Casey as he prepares for retirement after 34 years of service.

Major Casey served in a variety of roles throughout his career, most recently as Commander of the Highway Patrol Division.

Colleagues praised him for his steady leadership, dedication to the agency, and commitment to the community.

Officials said Major Casey embodied the principles of the “Big Hat Law” and left a lasting impact on the department.

Staff and community members expressed gratitude for his decades of service and wished him well in retirement.
