Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department reported that Christmas Honors Wreath Prep at the Fort Smith Convention Center saw strong participation as volunteers gathered to prepare wreaths for placement at the National Cemetery the following morning.
According to the Department, volunteers spent the evening fluffing and organizing wreaths while taking time to reconnect with others in the community.
The event highlighted the city’s ongoing support for veterans, with organizers noting that few communities honor their veterans with the same dedication seen in Fort Smith.
