Fort Smith, Ark. – Fort Smith Police Department officers responded to a reckless driving incident in the covered parking area at 5111 Rogers Avenue, where a passenger sustained serious injuries after being thrown from one of the vehicles.
Accident reconstruction personnel arrived on scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to the department, officers arrested the driver, Alex Valle, on charges of leaving the scene of an injury accident and reckless driving.
The investigation remained active as authorities worked to determine additional details.
