Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department responded to an aggravated armed robbery at Roosters convenience store at 50th and Johnson around 9 p.m.
Officers reported that the suspect struck an employee with a handgun before fleeing the scene on foot.
According to police, the suspect was last seen heading east behind a nearby smoke shop.
Authorities have released a surveillance image of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to contact them.
