Fort Smith, Ark. – Last week, Class 54 of the Fort Smith Police Department received training on Response to Resistance, a critical component of law enforcement education.
The recruits applied their newly gained knowledge in a Use of Force Simulator, which allowed each participant to experience how quickly officers must make decisions in real-life situations.
The department emphasized the importance of the training, noting that it prepares future officers to respond effectively and responsibly when faced with high-pressure encounters.
