Fort Smith, Ark. – The Fort Smith Police Department responded to reports of gunfire near the 1700 block of Savannah Street after shots were fired from a vehicle occupied by multiple subjects.
According to police, the vehicle was later abandoned near the intersection of Vicksburg and South 35th Street.
It has not been confirmed whether the subjects were targeting a specific property or individual. No injuries have been reported.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police asked anyone with information that could help identify those involved to contact the department at 479-709-5000.
