Creekmore Park mini-golf course gets fresh updates thanks to local business volunteers

Fort Smith, Ark. — Volunteers from two local companies teamed up over the weekend to refresh a popular family attraction at Creekmore Park. Employees from Graphic Packaging and ID Logistics dedicated their time and energy to giving the park’s mini-golf course a much-needed update.

The project, coordinated in partnership with the City of Fort Smith Parks & Recreation Department, involved sprucing up the existing course layout and preparing it for exciting new features. While details are still under wraps, officials say new obstacles will be installed soon, making the course more challenging and fun for visitors of all ages.

City leaders praised the collaborative spirit behind the effort.

“Investments like this—of both time and resources—make a big difference in our community spaces,” a Parks & Recreation spokesperson said. “It’s great to see local businesses stepping in to support our parks.”

The improvements are part of the city’s ongoing focus on enhancing recreational opportunities and preserving public spaces. Park-goers are encouraged to visit the mini-golf course in the coming weeks to see the updates and enjoy the freshened-up facilities.
