Arkansas – An Arkansas man and woman were taken into custody following serious allegations of prolonged abuse against a mlnor girI residing in their home. The arrest came after the victim confided in a school counseIor, prompting an investigation by Arkansas authorities.

According to court documents, the girl, who was not identified due to her age, reported enduring severe physical, se-ual, and psychological abuse over several years. She alleged that 34-year-old DanieI repeatedly ra-ed her from 2020 to 2023. The victim recounted an incident where the 28-year-old woman, Anie, witnessed one of these assaults but did not intervene; instead, the man allegedly threatened to kill the woman if she reported the abuse.

The victim also described being subjected to extreme neglect and physical harm. She was reportedly forced to sleep in a bathtub without bedding and was provided minimal sustenance, often limited to one pastry and a glass of water per week.

In one instance, the woman allegedly stabbed her in the neck with a fork for not washing dishes properly, stating, “I hope you die.”Further allegations include the forced ingestion of drugs such as fentanyI, cocaine, methadone, and methamphetamine.

The victim claimed she was compelled to snort these substances multiple times, despite her objections.The teenager also reported that after sustaining a broken leg, the couple refused to seek medical attention for her. She stated that she delayed reporting the abuse due to fear and guilt but ultimately came forward, expressing that she could no longer bear the burden of silence.

The unidentified victim also told Arkansas authorities that when she had a broken leg, the couple allegedly refused to take her to the hospital for treatment.

The 34-year-old man faces charges including ra-e, se-ual assault, endangering the welfare of a minor, terroristic threatening, and permitting the abuse of a minor. The 28-year-old woman is charged with permitting the abuse of a minor, introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another person, terroristic threatening, battery, and endangering the welfare of a minor. Both individuals are currently detained at the county detention center as the investigation continues.
