Fort Smith community comes together for the 32nd annual Day of Caring

Fort Smith, Ark. – The City of Fort Smith proudly participated in the 32nd annual Day of Caring, a regional event organized by United Way of Fort Smith.

The community-wide volunteer effort brought together over 700 individuals to support local nonprofits and service organizations through a variety of hands-on projects.

The day began at Hunts Park with opening remarks from Vice Mayor Jarred Rego, who praised the spirit of service and collaboration that defines the event.

Volunteers spent the day painting, landscaping, organizing, and tackling a range of tasks aimed at strengthening the community.

City officials expressed their gratitude to all who contributed their time and energy to make a positive impact.

The event highlighted the power of collective action and reaffirmed Fort Smith’s commitment to supporting those in need.
