Fayetteville Police Officer Uninjured in Rollover Crash

Fayetteville, ARK – A Fayetteville police officer is unharmed after being involved in a rollover crash Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 10:42 a.m. at the intersection of North College Avenue and Joyce Boulevard.

According to Fayetteville Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Mauk, the officer was responding to an emergency call with lights and sirens activated. As the officer approached the intersection and was attempting to clear it at a low speed, another driver collided with the patrol car, striking it on the side. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over, but the officer was not seriously injured in the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle was not immediately identified, and authorities have not released further details about the crash. The incident remains under investigation by the Fayetteville Police Department.

This marks the second rollover accident involving a police vehicle in the area this year. Despite the accident, the department confirmed that the officer involved was physically fine and able to continue their duties after the incident.
