Little Rock, ARK – A Little Rock woman has been arrested on felony theft charges following an investigation by the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office. The arrest of 32-year-old Dominique Dyserajean Price marks the culmination of a probe initially launched to investigate possible connections to organized retail crime.
According to Attorney General Tim Griffin, the investigation, which was initiated after a request from the Sherwood Police Department in October, did not uncover any ties to organized retail crime. However, during the course of the inquiry, investigators gathered sufficient evidence to charge Price with theft of property.
Further investigation revealed that Price was already wanted by the Little Rock Police Department on several outstanding warrants, including charges of theft of property, breaking or entering, and criminal use of a prohibited weapon.
Price was arrested on December 5 following a traffic stop conducted by Little Rock Police officers. She was subsequently booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.
In a statement, Attorney General Griffin praised the collaborative efforts of local law enforcement agencies. “While this particular investigation did not lead us to an organized retail crime operation, this case underscores the importance of cooperation between law enforcement agencies,” Griffin said. “A repeat offender is now off the streets, and will face justice for her crimes.”
Griffin also extended his appreciation to the Sherwood and Little Rock police departments, as well as his office’s Special Investigations Division, for their thorough work and coordination in bringing the case to a successful conclusion.
The arrest of Price highlights the ongoing efforts by local and state authorities to address criminal activity in the Little Rock area and demonstrates the effectiveness of interagency collaboration in solving cases and bringing offenders to justice.
