Little Rock Man Arrested in Connection with Deadly July Crash

Little Rock, ARK – A Little Rock man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that occurred in July, officials with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) announced Thursday.

Cody Goss, 33, was taken into custody and is facing charges of negligent homicide and driving while intoxicated. The charges stem from a two-vehicle collision on July 3 in the 15000 block of Lawson Road, which resulted in the death of 38-year-old Erik Ek, a Little Rock resident.

According to PCSO officials, Goss was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. The incident led to a fatality, prompting an investigation by authorities. Following the investigation, Goss was arrested and booked into the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.

Authorities continue to look into the details surrounding the crash. Goss remains in custody as the legal proceedings move forward.
